Objective and Mission

1.  To reserve & restore the Pala art and culture & to spread its publicity.
2.  To institute awards, fellowships, prizes and medals and to confer honorary awards and distinctions in accordance with rules of the Trust to the legend and reputed Pala artists and other personalities of society.
3.  To preserve and protect local folk dance like-Pala, Odissidance, Dandanrutya, Daskathia, Ramlila, etcfrom cultural divarication.
4.  To establish, maintain and develop one institution with an aim to collect and restore the basic life-data of reputed  Pala artists, restoration of Pala instruments like Pala books, Pala customs(uniform), Pala musical instruments like Mrudanga, Jhanja, Karatali, Gini etc.
5.  To establish, maintain and develop one state level ‘Pala Library’ and publication of books, magazines, booklets, leaflets, ICE materials and other articles regarding Pala.
6.  To make documentary film and performance (Video Recording) of Pala and prepare  biography of reputed Pala artists.
7.  Publication of brochure/prospects in respect of/in memory to beloved eminent Pala Gayaks and observe their birth anniversary in due course.
8.  To carry out different research and development activities to preserve, protect and develop Pala tradition in Odisha as well as abroad.
9.  To use print and electronic media for publicity of Pala tradition from village level to national level.
10.To aware, motivate and involve people to identify and help to eradicate social evils like   dowry, drug abuse, AIDS, HIV, bonded labour, bow wage, untouchability, alcoholism,  Illiteracy etc. to create a hygienic and ethical social order through the performance of Pala.
12. To aware the general public for the successful implementation of differential government projects through the performance of Pala.
13. To do all acts and things calculated to facilitate the charitable, social, cultural,  educational, vocational and economic services of the TRUST.
14. To utilise the funds of the Trust for the purpose of realization of the aims and objectives  of the trust.
15. To buy, hire, mortgage, lease, rent, acquire and dispose of movable and immovable properties and equipment for the basic purpose of the Trust.
16. To seek, accept any gift or donation whether in cash or kind, movable or immovable or in form of debenture, stocks or shares in any                     company or society whether incorporated or not for achievement of any or all objectives of the Trust.
17. To accept, hold and operate any Trust fund or properties, accept the office of Trustees, managers or administrators, solely or jointly with                others.
18. To exchange by way of sale, mortgage, lease, loan, charge, hypothecation, pledge, hire, gift or otherwise with or without security, the                     properties or funds of the Trust in furtherance of the objects of the Trust.
19. To frame rules and bye-laws and to add, amends, vary or rescind any rule for conduct of the affairs of the Trust.
20. To accept and secure subscriptions, donations, gifts, grants, loans, contributions and endowments in kinds or cash services from individuals, local bodies, State and Central Governments, other institutions, international agencies and from voluntary organizations including foreign sources who are prepared to assist the Trust for achievement of any or all objectives of the Trust.
21. To continue or appoint committees for disposal of any business or rendering any expert advice to the Trusts among the existing members or by experts outside the trust.
22. To undertake relief measures in aid of the distressed people affected by natural calamities or in other ways or to rehabilitate them and make them self-dependent through income-generating schemes.

23. To develop literacy among the people through various educational programmes like adult education, night schools, pre-schools etc.
24. To establish, maintain, manage and operate institutions to offer education, research and training in other areas of ‘technical education’ and            transfer of technology in collaboration with leading nationals and internationals organizations in newer fields of technology.
25. To undertake specific projects in collaboration with Government and other agencies for imparting instructions, training, demonstration, model        programs etc.
26. To undertake such other activities not specifically mentioned here above in the interest of achievement of the aims and the objects of the              trust has decided by the Executive Committee from time to time.
27. Besides these the trust shall take the steps for agricultural development, equilibrium in the environment through the development of forestry, to provide services for the development of mass education, higher education, as well as technical education, to provide services in the field of health science.

3.        JURISDICTION : Through out Indian Territory and beyond.
4.        AIMS AND OBJECTIVES :Reflected in memorandum.
5.        INTERPRETATION : In these rules and regulations unless there be anything in the context repugnant or consists therewith.
           a)        The Board means the Governing Body selected by Trust-Board to run institutions.
           b)        The Trust Board means the Governing Body of trustees who manages the Trust.
           c)        “Act” means the Indian Trust Act of 1882.
6.        TRUSTEESHIP :The trustee(s) of the Trust shall consist of individual Trustee(s).
           a)        Such individuals who signed and given consent of this instrument of Trust shall be founder Trustees.
           b)        Such other individual(s) who may be admitted to be the Trustee if the Founder Trustees adopts a resolution by 2/3 majority.
           c)        Such other individual(s) who shall be admitted to be the trustee if the Founder trustee(s) nominates on his behalf.
